  • Responsible for support and maintenance of Lawson ERP system running on Sun Solaris and Oracle. This includes supporting the Lawson applications, Solaris OS, as well as the Oracle database.
  • Designed and implemented business-related reports using Perl and various other Unix tools.
  • Created an annual employee evaluation web application using Perl and CGI. The application pulled employee and supervisor data from Lawson and displayed it in an interactive form for managers to review. Evaluation data was saved in a separate table structure and allowed higher level reporting to see trends in evaluations based on manager, department, position, etc.
  • Created an employee history application to allow HR to view full employee history, including event dates, position history, salary history and leave history, in one location. Data was pulled from legacy systems, along with nightly pulls from the current system(s), and stored in a separate data structure for easy retrieval.
  • Interfaced GemPay P.O.S. System to in-house Employee Self Service portal. This allowed employees to choose to be able to payroll deduct charges at registers campus-wide.

  • Developed ASP.Net based Warehouse Management System using C# & SQL Server 2000. Project was designed to track raw materials inventory throughout the plant using bar-code technology and hand-held scanners. Saw the project through from definition/requirement gathering, development, implementation, and on to completion.
  • Designed and coded Finished Goods Warehouse Tracking System (ASP.Net based using C# & SQL Server 2000). Designed to track completed goods in the warehouse, to build truck loads based on assigned ship dates, and to relieve raw materials inventory of the finished items contents. Used bar-code technology with a combination of fixed scanners & hand-held scanners to track items.
  • Designed and coded Quality Tracking System (ASP.Net based using C# & SQL Server). Developed in order to track quality issues that arise throughout the manufacturing process. By tracking all quality issues, patterns can then be spotted as to designate bad parts, bad procedures, improper assembly, etc.
  • Designed and coded several Windows based terminal emulation and automation applications, using VB .Net, to automate data entry and retrieval to and from the corporate mainframe. Automated data entry to eliminate the need for a person to manually enter all data into mainframe. Scheduled several of these applications to download flat text files from the mainframe for use in the Warehouse Management System.
  • Administered SQL Server 2000 database server.
  • Developed approximately 80 – 100 stored procedures for use with Warehousing, Finished Goods, and Quality projects.
  • Designed approximately 50 -75 tables and views from tables for use with Warehousing, Finished Goods, and Quality projects.
  • Developed several Data Transformation Procedures used to import data from text files directly into the production database(s).
  • Implemented approximately 25 -30 automatically e-mailed reports (to managers) by using SQL Mail and Stored Procedures.
